1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the CoinVerum website, market-data pages and related API services (together, the “Service”). Public blockchain information is public by nature and is not created or controlled by CoinVerum.
2. Information we process
CoinVerum does not currently require user accounts. We may process:
- Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested URL, timestamps, referring pages and diagnostic logs.
- Information you voluntarily send to us, including your email address, message and any supporting material.
- Public blockchain data, including wallet addresses and transactions, when needed to calculate or display market information.
- Aggregated usage information used to understand performance, reliability and general feature usage.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, maintain and troubleshoot the Service.
- Respond to enquiries, corrections and privacy requests.
- Measure performance and improve features and data quality.
- Detect abuse and comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential local storage remembers your privacy choice. Advertising and related measurement technologies are optional and are not enabled until you select “Accept advertising.” You can withdraw or change that choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.
5. Advertising
CoinVerum may use specialist advertising providers such as Coinzilla, HypeLab or Bitmedia, or work directly with a sponsor. An advertising provider is active only after its code is enabled on the Service. When enabled, that provider may process IP address, device and browser information, requested page, approximate location, ad impressions, interactions and pseudonymous identifiers to deliver, secure and measure advertising.
Ads and sponsored material are labelled and do not influence market data, rankings or methodology. We do not ask users to click advertisements and do not knowingly send names, email addresses or wallet ownership information to advertising providers.
6. Service providers and international transfers
We use infrastructure and data providers to operate the Service. They may process limited information on our behalf in countries other than your own. We seek to use appropriate contractual and legal safeguards where required.
7. Telegram bot and channel
If you interact with a CoinVerum Telegram bot, Telegram provides the bot with your numeric chat identifier and the commands or messages you send. CoinVerum uses that information to answer commands and, only when you explicitly use a watch command, to deliver requested token alerts. We do not need or store your Telegram profile name for this purpose. Removing all watches stops personalised alerts; you can also block the bot through Telegram.
8. Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, security, dispute resolution and legal compliance. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, and to receive a portable copy. EEA and UK visitors can find more information on our GDPR page.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the Service or applicable requirements change. The date above shows the latest revision. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to contact@coinverum.com.
