How to compare decentralized exchanges

These comparisons use the same CoinVerum Ethereum dataset on both sides. That makes TVL, volume, trades, active addresses and pool coverage comparable without mixing metrics from different chains or centralized exchanges.

No single number identifies the best exchange. TVL measures the qualifying liquidity base, volume and trades measure recent use, and active addresses count observed transaction senders rather than verified people. Protocol design and pool composition remain important when interpreting the totals.
